Our electric powertrain system consists of four key components:
Power Box, Smart Hitch, Motor, and Battery.

Power Box
Dynamic electric systems require reliable power and control.

Our Power Box brings together an On-Board Charge Controller, Vehicle Control Unit, and other control modules into one, centralized box.

Together, the modules in the Power Box command control of the entire system, optimizing for safe, efficient charging and motion control.

Smart Hitch
Efficient, affordable towing requires measuring the trailer load on its tow vehicle.

Our Smart Hitch uses sensors and embedded controllers to measure trailer load at the hitch and relay that real-time data to the Power Box.

With our Smart Hitch, your trailer shifts from being a blind load to a connected, self-aware component that works in tandem with its tow vehicle

Motor
Dynamic electric systems require a mechanism to convert power into motion.

Our 120 kW motor delivers torque directly to the trailer's wheels, transforming it into a self-propelled component.

With load data from the Smart Hitch, the Power Box calculates the optimal trailer speed to reduce load on the tow vehicle - unlocking smoother towing and increased towing capacity across all tow vehicles.

Battery
Electric systems require a reliable, rechargeable high-voltage power supply.

Our bi-directional battery powers the entire electric powertrain system, supports 30-minute fast charging, and provides users with a 25kW off-grid power supply.

Any trailer powered by Wild becomes not only a smart, self-propelled component, but also a mobile power bank that can recharge at 197,000 EV charging stations nationwide.
